Some of our more recent projects.

A thoroughly modern family house in Binfield Heath. This project was planned pre lockdown. Fortunately, the contractors were able to proceed with scaled back construction throughout this tricky and uncertain period, working closely with our clients to complete this beautiful house to an extremely high standard. Accommodation is arranged over 3 floors with a central atrium that floods the home with natural light with a floor area approaching 4500ft². Aside from careful planning, detailing, materials and architecture sustainable features are utilised throughout. The project is testimony to our client’s tenacity.

HAA helped our clients to transform their 4 bedroom house into a truly stunning refurbished and extended family home. Working with what can be described as brick and tiled traditional house we grafted on modern rear extension. The additional space has transformed the property and it is now spacious and flooded with light. A brand new kitchen and interior compliment the improvements.

Our brief was to update and modernise this property to suit a young growing family’s needs. The build comprised of the refurbishment, remodelling and extension of the main house, followed by a new detached garage block with ancillary accommodation over. The site is a sensitive one, being on the edge of the historic Marlow Common Woods, a protected area, as well as being in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Aside from using fairly indigenous materials it was decided to give the property a contemporary lift by cladding some of the exterior with burnt Larch. The interior spaces are lofty and dramatic.

Another lockdown project in Marlow’s Terrington Hill. Interesting in more ways than one. Our client was the first of many to find HAA through Instagram. This project was delivered by Mark James and his trusted team at Cavendish Building Services. Our clients wanted to create a light airy home with a modern contemporary twist for themselves and their son. There was initially some resistance from the planners with regards to the angular feature windows as they felt that they were out of keeping. With some perseverance we got there and are pleased with the end results. The internal spaces are clean, calm, lofty and spacious.

This project included the restoration, refurbishment and extension of a detached post war family house close to the centre of Beaconsfield.

Our clients have an interest in Art Deco furniture and furnishings and the brief to HAA was to flood the house with natural light and provide plenty of hanging and shelf space.
