Girl Guide Headquarters, Beaconsfield

HAA were appointed to design a replacement building in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town. The original building dated pre WW2.  It was small, cramped and expensive to run. Jonathan’s daughters Chloe and Alicia attended Brownies and as a consequence HAA were delighted to get involved. The new building is much loved and owes its existence to many. It is testament to the herculean fund-raising efforts and tenacious commitment of the Guiders and parents of the Beaconsfield Team, Trefoil Guide and community. Special thanks must go to the contractor Paul Baxter who carried out the build at cost and Cllr Alan Walters MBE who is sadly no longer with us.
