HAA were appointed by Clients to redevelop this edge of town centre brownfield site in Marlow. Located in a Conservation Area and within an area of burgage plots the project took a lot of design skills and effort to deliver. Planning permission was granted at planning committee and had an officer recommendation for approval. Parking concerns were dealt with by reference to government policy. The building features live green walls, and ‘blue’ roofs. Blue roofs retain water in the event of a flash down pour. The water is then slowly released into the local authorities drainage system by underground tanks and attenuators so as to prevent an overload and flooding.
