HAA were appointed by commercial clients to carry out the redevelopment of this interesting building in the heart of the historic Old Town. Originally a B1 office building the departure of the tenants and gave our clients an opportunity to look at the various options and potential rental yields. Mindful of the change in Prior Determination legislation we took advance of this to achieve an Office to Residential use consent. This minimised the exposed to CIL. Alterations to the fenestration, parking and landscaping was then dealt with by way of a planning application and subsequent permission. The works were carried out and the finished project sold on.
