Chris has a hands-on approach to problem solving and is passionate about developing practical passive and sustainable design solutions.
He graduated from Solent University, Southampton in 2021 with a First Class BA(Hons) degree in Architectural Design & Technology and has most recently worked for Studio 4, Southampton and STL Architects, Reading.
Since starting his career Chris has gained 5 years’ experience in architectural design focusing on the residential sector. Practical experience has been in the production of planning and building regulations submissions, contract and final construction drawings. Chris is now working towards becoming a Chartered Member of CIAT.
Prior to training in construction, he gained a qualification in horticulture during which he achieved a silver medal at Chelsea Flower Show. He then worked as a landscaper on a number of residential gardens before changing to pursue Architectural Technology.
Chris is a keen climber, mountain biker and hiker, often finding himself halfway up a mountain in some form or another. He also enjoys putting his practical problem solving to the test as he continues to work on and build furniture for his house.
