This 3D model of the existing building and the proposed two-storey side and single storey rear extension was built at the early concept design stages to test massing and setting on the steeply sloping site, and impact on neighbouring properties in this Green Belt location.

Model views were developed and proposed at concept design stage to illustrate different cladding options to our clients.

The model also tested the sun path and solar gain to the large rear sliding doors and glazed gable, ensuing improvements of the roof design.

Internally, the model was fully developed to illustrate the flow between existing and new living spaces to our clients, and different finishes trialled and visualized to aid design decisions.
